<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a porcelain composition for nonlinear voltage resistor having excellent varistor characteristics and a noise absorbing property. CONSTITUTION:The porcelain composition for a nonlinear resistor is mainly composed of strontium titanate or strontium titanate, titanate, zirconate and stannate, and it contains the following material components: at least a kind selected from Nb2O5, Ta2O5, WO3, La2O3, CeO2, Nd2O3, Pr6O11, Dy2O3, Y2O3 and Sm2O3 of 0.001 to 5.0mol%, at least a kind selected form V2O3, Cr2O3, CuO, Cu2O, MoP3 and MnO2 of 0.02 to 5mol%, and an Fe compound of 0.001 to 1.000mol%. Also at least a kind of GeO2, ZnO, B2O3 and PbO of 0.02 to 5mol% may be contained in the porcelain composition of the nonlinear voltage resistor.</p> |
