<p>PURPOSE:To improve safety by setting an insulating medium to a predetermined value or less of vacuum, and evacuating in vacuum it when the vacuum degree in a metal vessel exceeds the predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum pump 10 is connected to a vessel 1 of a power receiving facility through a stop valve 9. Further, a vacuum meter 11 for monitoring vacuum degree in the vessel 1 is provided. The pump 10 is operated together with the valve 9 when vacuum degree measured by the meter 11 is reduced. That is, when a pressure measured by the meter 11 becomes 10<-2>Pa or more, a power source of the pump 10 is turned ON, and the pump 10 is operated. Then, the valve 9 is closed, and the vessel 1 of the facility is evacuated in vacuum. When a pressure of the meter 11 becomes 10<-2>Pa or less, the valve 9 is closed, and the pump 10 is stopped. Thus, safety can be enhanced while maintaining a dielectric strength equivalent to SF6 gas.</p> |
