PURPOSE:To make it possible to increase the display speed of train without sacrifice of safety by resetting a parabolic limit speed pattern in response to an aspect up signal delivered from an aspect up ground unit and then controlling a train based on the limit speed pattern signal. CONSTITUTION:The automatic train stopping system comprises a speed pattern generating circuit 12 and a deceleration pattern generating circuit 23, wherein outputs from both circuits 12, 23 are added through an adder circuit 24 to produce a parabolic control speed pattern signal. A speed comparison circuit 14 compares the output from the adder 24 with a signal relevant to the actual speed of train thus controlling brake to be applied on the train. A signal upper variation detecting circuit 21 resets the content of the deceleration pattern generating circuit 23 depending on the output for an aspect up ground unit generating an aspect up signal at the time of passage of the train. Consequently, display speed of train can be increased without requiring significant modification of existing facility. |
