PURPOSE:To obtain a finder device capable of detecting the line of sight with high accuracy without lowering the detecting accuracy of device for detecting the line of sight provided in a finder even when an object is bright. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a device for detecting the direction of the line of sight consisting of a light projecting optical system 10 for projecting detecting light to the eyes of a photographer and a light receiving optical system 20 for detecting the direction of the line of sight of the photographer by forming the detecting light reflected by the eyes into an image, a liquid crystal panel 5 adjusting a light quantity reaching the eyes from the object, and a driving circuit 30 controlling the panel 5 so that the light quantity reaching the eyes may be nearly constant. |
