The instrument consists of an identical pair of hollow spheres (1,1') containing small stones or similar bodies, connected together by a short length of cord (2). Each sphere has two openings (7,8), one of which is blocked by a rivet (4,4') and the other of which receives the cord. Each sphere is formed by a pair of hemispherical shells glued together along their rims. The length of the cord between the spheres is variable by adjustment of its tying position within one or both spheres. ADVANTAGE - Adjustable to give different sounds and rhythm patterns.
