PURPOSE:To improve operability at the time of preparing a document by displaying the various kinds of data such as character data, picture data, chart data and graphic data at a display device. CONSTITUTION:The various kinds of the data inputted by a keyboard 5 or read from a RAM 3 or an external storage device 4 are displayed on a CRT 8. At the time of the layout of the various kinds of the data as the documents, the various kinds of the data are arranged inside the frame of a rectangular area, and further, the frame is arranged. Thus, the various kinds of the data displayed on the CRT 8 are stored as a document file along with a display flag by the every kind of the data or every frame. By specifying the display and the nondisplay of the display flag with the keyboard 5, only the data needed by an operator can be displayed and the operability is improved. |
