PURPOSE:To simultaneously provide a lot of information to a user of the device by performing interdiction processing without providing a display digit area for the general interdiction processing in a display device provided with a limited display area. CONSTITUTION:This processor is provided with a display data storage part 3 for storing display character data, an input means 1 for requesting character display, a data read means 2 for reading the display data by input, a display data discrimination means 4 for analyzing the read data, a data passing means 5 used for the interdiction processing by the analyzed result, a row head information preserving means 6 for preserving the analyzed result and an output means 7 for displaying character codes based on prepared row head information and interdiction processing for providing a lot of the character data at a display screen is discriminated. In the retrieving device of the character data of a guide book and a dictionary such as an electronic book, at the time of displaying characters on the screen of a limited size, more character data can be provided simultaneously to the user of the device. |
