PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic measuring apparatus, which performs focusing at the intended inner position of a sample and can perform inner focusing at the center of the sample. CONSTITUTION:The pulse transmitted from a pulse transmitting part 1 is converted into the ultrasonic pulse with a transducer 2. The pulse is converged into the minute spot with an acoustic lens 3. A Z moving part 18 moves the acoustic lens 3 in the direction Z by the distance specified by a CPU 14. The pulse is cast into a sample 5 so that the surface focusing and the inner focusing are achieved. The detected wave is converted into the electric signal. The signal is attenuated by the specified amount in an attenuator 7 and inputted into a gate 9. The peak of the signal, which is selected and outputted through the gate 9, is detected with a peak detecting part 10. The signal is compared with the threshold value, which is generated with a threshold-value setting part 13. When the detected value exceeds the threshold value, the value is outputted. The signal, which is converted into the digital signal in an A/D) converter part 12, is inputted into an image memory 16 in this ultrasonic measuring apparatus. |
