PURPOSE:To eliminate a contact part so that the occurrence of noise is prevented, and also to improve durability and reliability by fixing and installing a heater provided with a heat generating part arranged close to the inner peripheral surface of a photosensitive drum on a supporting shaft for freely rotatably supporting the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive drum 2 is freely rotatably supported by the supporting shaft 4 through bearings 14, 17 and 18. The heater 3 is fixed and installed on the shaft 4. A pipe heater 3p having the heat generating part 3e on the whole surface of the outer peripheral part is used as the heater 3, and it is mounted on the shaft 4 through flanges 21 and 22. In this case, the outer peripheral surface as the heat generating part 3e of the pipe heater 3p is arranged close to the inner peripheral surface 2i of the photosensitive drum 2 as much as possible within the extent not to be in contact with the inner peripheral surface 21. An opening part 23 is installed on the intermediate part of the shaft 4. Power supply wires 5a and 5b connected to the pipe heater 3p are made to pass through the opening part 23 and the hollow part 4s of the shaft 4, and then, they are introduced to the outside from the end part of the shaft 4. |
