PURPOSE:To produce a magnetic toner having good fixability even in a high- speed copying machine, without contaminating a picture due to the offset phenomenon in fixing and without contaminating the picture on the second side in both-side copying and to form a picture with the toner. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic toner consists of at least a binder resin and a magnetic powder. In the mol.wt. distribution of the binder resin component measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), the region of <=5,000mol.wt. is controlled to <15% and the region of >=5,000,000mol.wt. to >=5%, the main peak is in the region of 5,000-100,000mol.wt., and the weight average mol.wt. is controlled to >=5,000,000. |
