The sling (1) is esp. used for carrying skis. It consists of a continuous fabric or plastics strap which has hooked pile fastenings (2) for attaching the skis or for attaching the sling to the skis. The continuous strap is placed round the skis near the ski bindings. The sling can be rolled or folded up and stowed away in a pocket. The strap is wholly or partially coated with a non-slip coating. USE/ADVANTAGE - The ski sling enables the skis to be carried easily and safely without fastenings such as eyelets or spring hooks.
