The wash table comprises a basin (WA) fittings for water feed, a surround (EB) which comprises at least one horizontally arranged plastic hard foam table (KH1,KH3...) and encloses a cavity (MU) for the wash basin, and holder components (HL1,HL2). EB comprises at least 2 plastic hard foam tables interconnected and arranged one beneath the other, of which the lower is graduated in relation to the upper. HL1, HL2 are embedded in the elastic hard foam tables. Beneath the wash table surround and connected to it directly is a siphon diaphragm of plate material. The siphon covering is pref. of coated aluminium plate. The uppermost plastic hard foam table has a thickness which is approximately 2/3 of the depth of the wash basin. The plastic hard foam tables on their view sides have connecting components made of solid, plastic bound mineral material, PVC plates, etc. USE/ADVANTAGE - A wash table which forms a unit with the wash basin, is light and stable, and has integrated fittings.
