The solar collector (1,4) consists of an inflatable mattress of elastic, airtight, waterproof material with an internal hose system. It is inflated and deflated via a valve. The hose system is filled with the water to be heated. A small circulation pump is used to feed the heated water to a consumer. The device is portable.
