The safety blocking valve arrangement is for position-controlled linear and rotary drives in which the valve piston (25) is coupled in the closing direction with a control piston (26). The control piston separates two pressure chambers (27, 28) from each other. A larger first surface (32) opposite the leading face surface (47) of the valve piston is subject to the pressure in the user connection (14). An oppositely positioned second surface (31) is subject to a control pressure from a pre-control valve (35). USE/ADVANTAGE - Blocking valve for linear or rotational drive permits safe and rapid blocking of pipe leading to user connection.
