Method consisting in having high-energy laser radiation available by means of a CO2 laser via which visibility and control or elimination of mist and fog over wide areas is achieved by sweeping areas at optimum speeds, as a function of the density and height of the mist and fog. Proceeding in a similar manner, it is possible to eliminate the hail which falls and the frosts which lie on sown land, airports and roadways and also to raise the temperature in agricultural greenhouses with the consequent change in relative humidity. Another type of infrared radiation laser for eliminating mist and fog, hail and ice and for moving masses of cold air is the neodymium laser.
