Erecting building standing in ground-water - using vertical posts with projecting heads in water-filled pit, shuttering, and hydraulic device to construct and lower foundation unit

The method employs a floating waterproof box, which forms the foundation unit for the building. This is lowered load- and position-controlled into a pit. The pit is filled with ground-water, and is enclosed. Initially, several vertical posts (3) with heads projecting from the water, are formed in the pit. The foundation unit is then formed outside the ground-water, using shuttering with extendable suspension devices, while suspended from the posts. A hydraulic cylinder-piston arrangement between post heads and suspensions, is used to lower the unit vertically while in horizontal position, so that it can be extended into a building. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vertical lowering of building foundation unit while constantly in horizontal position.
