A plug body (10) of standard external dimensions carries a pin (12) protruding from the end remote from the cable entry (16) which is formed at an obtuse angle to the axis of the pin. The angle may be greater or less than 110 deg. according to the dia. of the cable entry so that two such plugs may enter respective sockets with spacing less than the width of the plug in the direction of cable entry. ADVANTAGE - A row of such plugs can be fitted easily into a multiple socket and withdrawn by insertion of a finger into the holes (20).
