The laser beam printer comprises a main body with a laser scanning unit for converting an electric signal into a laser beam and scanning the laser beam. A fixation part fixes the developed paper and a development part disposed at a front of the laser scanning unit develops an image on paper. A front cover supplies the paper and covers the main body and is mounted to a side of the main body by a hinged connection mounted to a lower portion of the main body in order to connect the cover to the main body. A guide slot allows the developing part to be disposed to the main body, and a paper discharge unit discharges the paper having been fixed and comprises a pair of paper discharge rollers and a discharging type select roller.
