<p>Wires are separated at a predetermined point by a method in which a wire (5) is bent at the point where it is to be separated (7) and is heated with the aid of a laser. After cooling the wire is bent back to its initial position, causing it to break. The method is pref. applied to a lamp ower lead, up to 2mm dia.. ADVANTAGE - No cutting tools needed.</p> |
