Signal forming for chrominance carrier signal correction - using delayed versions of input signal processed to provide correction and control signals with symmetrical reference values
摘要
The supplied signal (A) is delayed for a given interval to provide a base signal (B). The latter is delayed for a second interval to provide a delayed base signal (C). The original, base and delayed base signals are processed to provide a pair of control signals and a pair of correction signals, each with symmetrical reference values. The reference values of one or both correction signals are selected in dependence on the control signal values to provide a quasi-correction signal (b), which is then multiplied by a given coefficient to provide a correction signal (M). This is processed with the base signal to obtain the required output signal (N). USE - Improving image sharpness in video recorder or t.v. receiver. Allows sensitivity of signal forming to be increased since unnecessary signal forming during a time interval in which formation basis signal does not change is not carried out.
