The container has at least one bung hole in its bottom or lid surface, with a bung hole closure consisting of an elastic sleeve (1) surrounding a stopper. A second bung hole (30) is located in opposite lid and has also a bung hole closure (A). The second bung hole closure has a device for aerating the container during tapping. Pref. the stopper (3) has large and small aerating ribs (5, 6) longitudinally arranged on its periphery, seated in corresp. grooves of the sleeve opening. USE/ADVANTAGE - Liq. discharge tap is for up to 10 litre party beer casks, with a facility for cleaning and reuse of empty cask.
