<p>PURPOSE:To provide a work detecting device provided with the function capable of properly detecting even a work having a relatively small shape. CONSTITUTION:Multiple photoelectric elements 14, 14,... are linearly arranged at the preset pitch to form a set of photoelectric unit 13 so that an object can be detected based on the state change of the outputs from some of the photoelectric elements 14. Multiple sets of the photoelectric units 13 are arranged in the perpendicular direction to the work conveyance direction (direction of an arrow 5) of a conveyor 3 on a base 12, and the individual photoelectric units 13 are inclined by the preset angle against the work conveyance direction. The relative optical axis pitch of the photoelectric elements 14 against a work 2 is narrowed, and even the work 2 having a relatively small shape can be properly detected.</p> |
