The detection circuit decides the error limitation of frequency and duty error and generates the control signals when error is over the error limitation. The circuit includes a counter (100) for counting periods (T1),(T2),(T3),(T4) by to the outputted square waves, a normal period decision unit (200) for outputting the decision signal whether the normal duty or not, a normal display unit (200') for displaying the normal square wave duty, and a duty error detection unit (300) for displaying the error.
