PURPOSE:To obtain means for effectively detecting presence or absence of a pickup mistake of an electronic component. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting unit of a slit light emitting device 8 emits slit lights 11 toward an electronic component P sucked to a nozzle 3 while moving the nozzle 3 relatively to the device 8 thereby to obtain a plurality of thickness data d1-d5 of the component P and to detect a pickup mistake of the component P from the plurality of the data d1-d5. Thus, since the plurality of the data d1-d5 of the component P are obtained and a pickup mistake of the component P is decided based on it, presence or absence of the mistake can be effectively detected. |
