<p>The operation of the device for compacting bottles or containers made from synthetic material or metal is based on the use of a bar forming a lever, having an elongate arm on which the operator acts. This bar is pivoted on the container which is placed on the bottle to be compacted, in a position which can be varied by the operator in such a way that the point of application of the force to the bottle can be changed as the compacting operation proceeds, this compacting operation being carried out by means of a piston which can slide within the container, and on which the body of the said lever acts. <IMAGE></p> |
