PURPOSE:To drive a motor without discontinuity by eliminating a noncontinuous change of an inverted part of a drive signal in a driving circuit for a motor under a PWM control. CONSTITUTION:A generator 1 for a PWM signal for driving a motor has a read-only memory(ROM) 2 in which data of a PWM signal corresponding to a period of 0-180 degrees of a sine wave is, for example, stored. A signal having an arbitrary rotation phase is supplied to the generator 1 which generates, for example, a PWM output signal having a duty ratio of 50-100% corresponding to a sine wave of a period of 0-180 degrees. A period of 0-180 degrees of a rotation phase and a signal of a period of 180-360 degrees are output as DIR output signals. The PWM output signal and the DIR output signal from the generator 1 are supplied to an exclusive OR 3. A signal from the OR 3 is supplied to an IN input of an H-shaped bridge circuit 4. |
