<p>PURPOSE:To open/close a cover of either large or small sized tape cassettes by forming an engaging recessed part of the opening/closing cover of the tape cassette at a common position corresponding to the engaging part of a cover opening/closing lever of a recording/reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:The tape cassettes 1, 24 are held by a compartment 47 and moved at a specified position on a substrate. The cassettes are supported freely rotatably in the compartment 47 by a rotating fulcrum 60 positioned on the same coaxial line with rotating fulcrums of front lids 12, 34 of the cassettes. Also, the cover opening/closing lever 58 provided with a pin 62 engaging with the recessed part which is formed on the front surface of front lids 12, 34 of the tape cassette, and a cover opening pin 72 positioned in the course of movement of the compartment to abut on the lever 58 for pressing to make it rotate to the opening position together with the cover 34, are provided. By this constitution, the opening/closing cover of the cassettes of large/small size can be opened/ closed by a common member at the common position, then a guide in the cassette is unnecessitated, and the size of small tape cassette is miniaturized to the irreducible minimum.</p> |
