<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise and vibration at the time of performing switching operation from occurring in a magnetic recording and reproducing device in which an operation state and a stop state is switched by a plunger type electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with the plunger type electromagnet 1 having a plunger type movable iron core 2, and a slide chassis 3 which has an operating center axis obliquely crossed with that of the iron core 2 and is moved by the operation of the iron core 2. Thus, energy loss by friction is caused between the electromagnet 1 and the iron core 2, and between the chassis 3 and a chassis guide 9 at the time of performing the switching operation.</p> |
