PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic card which is difficult to be forged or illegally used, and the identifying system for such a magnetic card. CONSTITUTION:This identifying system for the magnetic card is composed of a magnetic card 1 and a reader/writer 20 for the magnetic card, the magnetic card 1 is provided with a first coil 11 for generating induced electromotive force by electromagnetic induction, electric circuit for transmitting prescribed signals while being connected to the first coil 11, and second coil 12 for transmitting the signals transmitted form the electric circuit, and the reader/writer 20 is provided with a first coil 21 for generating induced electromotive force at the first coil 11 of the magnetic card 1, second coil 22 for receiving the signals transmitted from the second coil 12 of the magnetic card 1, and card identification part for identifying the magnetic card based on the signals received by the second coil. |
