PURPOSE:To collect a tariff in accordance with receiving condition by inserting a channel selecting filter into a repeating transmission apparatus arranged on the subscriber side of a repeating transmission network in a CATV system. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier 20, channel selecting filters 3 consisting of filters 21, 22 and a switch are incorporated into a subscriber side distribution compensating amplifier 2. The SW in the amplifier 2 can be switched by an operator of a CATV station based upon a contract between the CATV station side and the subscriber, and when the SW is set up to either one of contacts, a transmitted signal is passed through the filter 21 or 22 and amplified by the amplifier 20 and the amplified signal is outputted. Thereby terminal side can limit a channel to be received by each subscriber and set a tariff system in accordance with each subscriber's receiving condition.
