PURPOSE:To provide the method and device for adjusting the fare of a train card so that passengers can pass the automatic ticket examining machine of the destination station, where they get off the train, and can adjust the fare outside the station, where they pass the gate, in the case of adjusting the fare. CONSTITUTION:Concerning this method and device for adjusting the fare of a train card 11, an automatic ticket examining machine 12 is provided to record train data corresponding to the card 11 through communication without being in contact with the train card 11 at the time of entrance to station jobs, to calculate the adjusted fare used for getting on the train by reading the train data recorded in the train card 11 without being in contact with the card 11 at the time of passing the gate and to record this adjusted fare in the train card 11 without being in contact with the card 11, and an automatic fare adjustment machine 13 is provided to record the same data as the adjusted fare recorded in the train card 11 by through communication connection with this automatic ticket gate 12 and to enable the adjustment processing of the card at the time of adjustment corresponding to the train card 11. Then, these machines 12 and 13 are intalled outside the station jobs with the machine 12 as a border. |
