PURPOSE:To provide a universal car connector plug which can be connected to a cigar lighter socket of all kinds of cars only by mounting a contact of one single kind regardless of its shipping destination, by eliminating necessity for complicated work such as mounting the contact selected from a plurality of kinds in accordance with the shipping destination of the car connector plug. CONSTITUTION:A base end part 21A is fixed in a plug main unit 10, and further a curved part 21B is swollen outward of the plug main unit 10 from an opening part 10A and brought into elastic contact with the internal peripheral surface of a cigar lighter socket. A contact main unit 21 formed of a leaf spring of narrow and long shape is provided. A pair of the leaf springs 22, 22 are extended toward inside the opening part 10A from both side edges in a base end side of the curved part 21B, to integrally mold a contact 20. Supporting parts 10B, 10B for deviatably supporting extending ends 22A, 22A of the leaf springs 22, 22 by pressing force to the contact main unit 21 are provided in the plug main unit 10. |
