PURPOSE:To provide an LED print head using an ocellus lens, to release a constraint to the mounting precision of an LED array or a lens, to hold the interchangeability of a circuit with a compound eye lens type head, and to easily attain a connection with a common electrode. CONSTITUTION:Plural LED arrays 2 are linearly arranged, and a data bus 4 is turned back like a zigzag, and allowed to pass through the bottom parts of the LED arrays 2. The arrays are driven by a time-division, and data are supplied from a shift register 28 of a bidirectional input. A switching circuit which switches the direction of an input to the shift register 28 is provided between the register and a printer, the input direction of data to the first array is inverted, and thereafter the input direction to each array is inverted. Margins are provided at the both sides of the array, and the common electrode is arranged on the bottom part. |
