The mask for all locking parts of residential doors as well as the frame with strike plate consists of two uprights, one fixed to the door, the other (2b) and a panel (3) fixed to the upright (2a) with a piano hinge (4). Both the second upright and the panel swivel on the door. Magnets are fixed to the panel and door respectively and a stop is (13) fixed to the door. A recess (15) facilitates access to the locks when the device is closed with a space (16) in the upright for the stop to keep the door ajar.
