PURPOSE:To relatively reduce the power output impedance regardless of the existence of an overcurrent detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:An overcurrent detecting circuit 44 is provided between the power input side of a control transistor TR 10 and an input voltage VCC, and the output side of this circuit 44 is connected to a switch circuit 24 through a resistor 45. When an overcurrent is detected by the overcurrent detecting circuit 44, the switch circuit 24 is operated to set the control TR 10 to the non-operating state. Since the overcurrent detecting circuit 44 is provided on the power input side of the control TR 10, the output side of the control TR 10 can be directly connected to a load; and therefore, the control TR output impedance, namely, the power output impedance is reduced. |
