The system for detecting the passage of a projectile uses two sets of detectors (4) arranged on two planes in a dihedral structure (2B, 2C). The detectors have an overlapping region of sensitivity and respond to the pressure wave produced by a high speed projectile. Information about the passage of the projectile is derived from the quasi-simultaneous electrical signals produced in the detectors. A shock detector is also attached to the target, so that the trajectory of the projectile can be evaluated. USE - Determination of projectile path in practise shooting range.
