PURPOSE:To decrease the cost by unnecessitating the setting of the sub scanning scale factor using CPU and to correspond to free registers and the move of the register position by counting a motor clock representing the sub scanning direction of an IIT carriage to take the count value as the sub scanning address of the memory saving the area discrimination result. CONSTITUTION:The recorder having an area recognition function saving the result of the color separation, which is performed on the read image data to fetch area recognition color data by, discriminating it is within or outside the marker area, is provided with a frequency divider 1 reducing the frequency by inputting a carriage motor clock, a cycle circuit 2 providing the synchronization of the frequency-divided clock and the effective picture data range signal VVAD, and a counter 3 counting the effective clock and setting the initial value of the sub scanning address. The count value of the counter 3 is taken as the sub scanning address of reading and writing the memory which saves the discrimination result. |
