PURPOSE:To make the temp. even at the whole battery by arranging the catalyst of internal refiner such that it can be increased its refining property in order in the gas flow direction. CONSTITUTION:In a reformer plate 1 and a unit cell 2 gas supply inner manifold holes 6 are formed to penetrate a stack vertically and from a lower header 11 gas is supplied to only the inner part of plate 1. The gas is reformed by utilizing heat generated from a battery in the plate 1 where catalyst is arranged in the gas flow direction so that the reforming performance is enhanced in order, and supplied to each unit battery 2 through a manifold hole for fuel. With the constitution, abrupt reforming reaction at the upstream section of catalyst layer is restrained so that the whole temp. of plate 1 can be made uniform, and by filling catalysts of different reforming characteristics at an arbitral ratio, in the plate, the temp. of the whole battery can be uniformed. |
