<p>PURPOSE:To realize a ceramic composition for voltage nonlinear resistor in which deterioration of characteristics can be avoided under high temperature atmosphere by enhancing moisture resistance while achieving excellent varistor characteristics, e.g. surge resistance or nonlinear coefficient. CONSTITUTION:An elemental body is composed of 98.0-99.9mol.% of (Sr1-XCaX) TiYO3 as main component (where, 0<=X<=0.25, 0.996<=Y<=1.003) and 0.1-2.0mol.% of Nb, W, Ta, In, Y or at least one kind of oxide selected from rare earth elements as a semiconducting agent. 0.01-2.0wt.% of the combination of NaXTiYOZ(where, X=2n, Y=2n', Z=n+3n', n and n' are natural numbers) and at least one oxide selected from Cub, PbO, Bi2O3, Sb2O3, V2O5, MoO3 is added, as a metallic oxidizing agent, to the elemental body.</p> |
