PURPOSE:To prevent a response delay or a vibration at the time of slow-up by providing an equal speed range for holding a frequency of an input pulse at a predetermined frequency for a predetermined time immediately after a stepping motor is started. CONSTITUTION:When a stepping motor 10 is controlled to be driven, a pulse of an automatic frequency Q10 is input to be started for a predetermined time t10. After a frequency of an input pulse is held at the frequency Q10 for a predetermined time t11 immediately after it is started, and the frequency is increased in an accelerating manner until it reaches a printing frequency Q20 for a predetermined time t20. Accordingly, the pulse of the frequency Q10 is continuously input from control means 9 to the motor 10 for a time from the t10 to the t11 to be driven at an equal speed at the time of starting, and a vibration generated by the movement of a movable pulley 13 supported by a tension spring 12 at the time of starting the motor 10 can be attenuated and absorbed. As a result, adverse influence of resonance and vibration at the time of starting to printing can be effectively prevented. |
