<p>PURPOSE:To register automatically the signal system and a protocol at every line by storing line identification information and extracting and setting the line control program corresponding to the kind of line identified by the transferred line information. CONSTITUTION:When a line circuit 2 of a communication equipment 1 transmits a signal via a line 3 with any of signal generating protocol of a relay lien or a trunk line, a line circuit 5 of a communication equipment 4 receives it as line information and when a line control program processing the signal of the line 3 is not stored, the received line information is transferred to a processing section 6 by a line information transfer means 5a. The processing section 6 collates the line identification information stored in advance in a line identification information storage means 6c with the transferred line information to identify the line class and a program setting means 6b extracts a relevant program among programs stored in the line control program storage means 6d and sets the extracted program to a line control program 5b and the communication equipment performs communication processing.</p> |
