PURPOSE:To provide the audio equipment adequate for installation in a vehicle by comparing the expected value address obtd. by counting from the sub-codes of a CD by a CD player and the present address from the sub-codes at the time of performance, supplying a sound skip detection signal to a recorder and executing control, such as tape rewinding in case of incoincidence. CONSTITUTION:A cassette tape is set in a cassette deck 1 and sound recording is started. A start signal P1 is supplied to the CD player 2. A sound signal P2 is supplied to the deck 1 when the performance is started. A signal P3 is applied to the deck 1 when a system controller provided in the player 2 detects the sound skip. The sound recording of the deck is interrupted and the tape is rewound to the music top where the sound skip arises when the signal P3 counted by a counter provided in the deck 1 is a specified count value or above. A sound recording interruption signal P4 is then applied to the player 2 and the sound skip music is searched. The sound recording is restarted upon ending of this searching A start signal P5 is then supplied to the player 2 and a sound signal P6 is applied to the deck 1 to execute the sound recording again.
