An amino acid derivative represented by general formula (I), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and a cancer metastasis inhibitor containing the same, wherein L<1> and L<2> represent each an amino acid residue, etc.; A<1> and A<3> represent each C=O; A<2> represents alkylene, etc.; m and n represent each an integer of 1 to 5; V represents -NHC(=NH)NH2, etc.; W represents -COOH, etc.; R<1> and R<2> represent each hydrogen, alkyl, etc.; R<3> and R<4> represent each hydrogen, etc.; and X and Y represent each -NH- or -O-. The derivative has a potent effect of inhibiting cancer metastasis and is reduced in the activity of inhibiting platelet agglutination and the anticoagulant activity.
