The invention relates to zero fat whipped frozen dessert products. Such products can be regarded as a low calory alternative for ice cream. More in particular, the invention relates to zero fat whipped frozen dessert products having improved melting properties. Products showing a controlled melting behaviour were obtained by using a specific emulsifier blend.
