The grab has a float (1) on a travelling track (3) on a frame (2), with the track extending over the width of the float and protruding over its edges (4). The track mounts at least one bunker carriage (5), movable below the grab (7). Pref. the track carries empty or loaded bunker carriages, together with sensors or measuring probes. The frame carries a hydraulic or four-cable grab with a winch (8). The latter may be fitted on the frame top point, or on the float. ADVANTAGE - Rapid loading operation, resulting in better performance of an excavator.
