In the socket body bore is swivelably mounted the throttle flap and there are features for reducing passage of leaking air with the throttle flap (4) closed. The features consist by the shape of the bore (2) and/or the throttle flap. The shape deviates from the cylindrical bore or throttle flap dia. (14), obtainable by mechanical machining. The shaping is obtained pref. by machining, with socket housing (3) and/or throttle flap clamping. The clamping may take into account the operational heating, and the effect of the suction pressure. ADVANTAGE - Reduced air leakage and jamming of the throttle flap.
