A ski carrying device (10) enables a skier to carry his or her skis (12) and poles (14) on the skier's back thereby freeing the skier's hand. The ski carrying device (10) includes an upper cover (16) and a lower cover (18). The skier wraps the upper cover (16) and lower cover (18) around the toe bindings (20) and the heel bindings (24) of the skis (14), respectively, with the skis positioned in a bottom-to-bottom arrangement. Each cover (16, 18) includes a strap (74, 114) which the skier wraps around the ski poles (14) to hold the ski poles (14) against the skis (12). The carrying device (10) further includes a pair of shoulder straps (26), each strap (26) connected to and extended between the upper cover (16) and the lower cover (18). |
