PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a visually normal person by covering a keyboard prepared for the visually handicapped persons to input the data necessary for transactions with a cover in order to disable the non-handicapped person to operate the keyboard. CONSTITUTION:When a customer takes up a handset 5, a main control part 14 switches the state of an automatic transaction device to a visually handicapped-person mode. If the handset 5 is not taken up and the output of a hook-up switch 7 is kept in an ON state, the part 14 decides the customer as a visually normal person and validates only the operations inputted through a touch panel 2 in order to switch the state of the transaction device into a visually normal-person mode where no input operation is attained despite the touch secured to a keyboard 3. Thus, the part 14 shows the operating guidance in pictures via a CRT display device 1. Then, the visually normal person can input the transaction data through the touch panel 2 of the device 1. At the same time, the keyboard 3 is covered with a cover 9 and the operation of the keyboard 3 is impossible. Therefore, the normal person never operates the keyboard 3 by mistake in the normal-person mode. |
