PURPOSE:To attain a facsimile mail system of the low cost which can easily rewrite the information on the changed terminal. CONSTITUTION:The mail devices 2-1...2-m consist of a master device 2-1 and the slave devices 2-2...2-m. The device 2-1 is provided with an ID number register part 3 where the ID numbers of all facsimile equipments 1-1...1-n connected to the mail devices respectively are registered. Meanwhile each slave device is provided with an ID number register part 4 where the ID number of its own facsimile equipment is registered and an inter-mail device connection means 5 which is connected to the device 2-1 when the ID number of a communicating destination is informed from the facsimile equipment. Then the device 2-1 is also provided with a retrieving means 6 which retrieves the slave device connected to the facsimile equipment of the corresponding ID number and an inter- mail device connection means 7 which is connected to the corresponding slave device. Furthermore the slave device is provided with a facsimile equipment connection means 8 which is connected to the facsimile equipment of the corresponding ID number when the communication is secured to the device 2-1. Thus a circuit is connected among those facsimile equipments. |
