Several plate shaped PTC elements (8) of heat resisting synthetic material are embedded with electrical contact making in a holder (7), forming an approx. half-shell shaped element (4). The element (4) on the suction duct side is completely surface covered by a contact metal sheet (11) for the prodn. of an electrical contact. The holder (7) consists of the half-shell shaped element (4), which merges into a tubular shaped section (12), which is integrated on the suction pipe side. USE/ADVANTAGE - Uses advantages of ceramic material with PTC with heating surface large and active matching pipe wall, without any narrowing of suction duct.
